Visits are by appointment only. All obstetric patients are seen by both doctors and by the nurse practitioner. You may request a specific doctor or the nurse practitioner for gynecologic care. We reserve time during the day for urgent or emergency problems as they arise. We encourage fathers to attend visits during the pregnancy, especially the initial visit. After-hours emergencies will be handled by the physician on-call through the answering service. Telephone questions will be answered by the nurse or doctor as soon as our schedule allows.
